Home help – do you need help with tasks around the home?

Starting to think about accepting home help and care in your own home can be daunting.  However, Homecare is most often the first choice for people who need help in order to continue to lead independent lives living in their own homes.  Our care workers assist our clients with many aspects of their daily lives.

Supporting people and enabling them to rebuild or maintain independence is what drives us.  We want our clients to be happy and to do the things they love with the people they care about.  We want them to retain their independence, comfort and contact with their local community.

The care and support which we provide is flexible.  We can provide as much or as little care and home help as you needed.

For many, some help around the home is all that is needed to stay completely independent at home.  Our care team can offer help in pretty much whatever way you need us to.  Perhaps you need some support to go out shopping, or even someone to do the shopping for you, or to order a shopping delivery.  Maybe you need support with personal care.  Many people ask for support with meal planning, preparation, and cooking.  We can also help with general household cleaning, laundry and ironing or perhaps you might need some help with paperwork or running errands?

Home helpYour carer will be a friendly face that is glad to share a chat with you over a cup of tea or whilst they are helping you with household tasks.  Companionship is an important part of our service and something that is really valued by our clients.

The next step is simply to decide what you want support with and how often you would like help.  It is really easy to increase or change your support at a later date.  All of our team are experienced and trained carers, if at a later date you need support with personal care or medication, your existing team will be able help.
